Normal was as normal could be. Bright moonlight cut through the gap in the layered curtains shining upon the currently unopened eye of the bedroom's sleeping occupant. Sidney's brain told him to open his eyes. When he did, he saw the bright full moon shining through the trees outside his bedroom window. He read it as an omen. Today would be like no other in Sidney Tanner's life. His parents had prepared him for this day. He would make them proud, and rich.
